Mantra on Salt Beach
Salt Surf Carnival

The Salt Surf Lifesaving Club would like to extend an invitation to all surf club members to participate in the Mantra on Salt Beach Surf Carnival  taking place at Salt Beach on the 15th & 16th of November.

The Mantra on Salt Beach Surf Carnival encompasses the spirit and healthy lifestyle of surf life saving by providing opportunities for competitors and spectators to participate in a broad range of surf sport activities over a weekend.

The event is open to competitors from SLSC branches all over Australia. Fantastic cash prizes are on offer for all competitive events.

Mantra Salt Surf Classic - 6 & 7 October, 2007
The first Mantra Salt Surf Classic was highly successful event comprising of two days of competitive surf lifesaving at Salt Beach on the New Tweed Coast.

The Mantra Salt Beach Surf Classic aims to become an annual event encompassing the spirit and healthy lifestyle of surf life saving by providing opportunities for competitors and spectators to participate in a broad range of surf sport activities and family fun events.

The event is designed to attract competitors from SLSC branches all over NSW and South East Queensland in comprehensive age categories ranging from U12 to Over 40. Fantastic cash prizes are on offer for all competitive events.

Competitive events that took place on Salt Beach included:

• Beach Flags
• Beach Run
• Sprint
• Run Swim Run
• Board
• Ski
• Iron Person
• The Salt Surf Classic (Pentathlon)

Family fun events that took place in Salt Central Park included:

• Pillow Fight
• Tug-O-War
• Chariot Race

Salt SLSC Sportsman's Lunch - 5 October, 2007
The third Annual Salt SLSC Sportsman’s Lunch took place on Friday 5th October 2007 at the Saltbar Beachbar and Bistro, Salt Village.
